Woodland Meditation Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking a Woodland Meditation session with The Naturally Curious. Please read the following information carefully to help you prepare for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Clothing and Equipment
Please be advised that while we won’t be walking far and will mostly stay on paths, it’s still important to wear sensible footwear suitable for woodland terrain—something comfortable with a bit of grip. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing extra layers, as your body can cool down during periods of stillness. Even in warmer months, temperatures in the woods can drop unexpectedly. Please also bring waterproofs in case of rain, a bottle of water, any snacks you may need, and any personal medication. As the session is mainly focused on guided breathwork and meditation, you’ll need something to lie on; a picnic blanket, yoga mat (that you don’t mind placing directly on the ground, blanket, or anything else that will enable you to feel warm and comfortable. Your comfort and safety are important to us, so we may need to turn participants away if not appropriately prepared for the conditions.
Weather Conditions
Woodland Meditation sessions go ahead in most weather conditions, including light rain—which can often enhance the sensory experience. The forest canopy often provides natural shelter, but please come prepared with suitable clothing and waterproofs.
In the event of extreme weather—such as high winds, lightning, or official weather warnings—we may cancel or reschedule the session for safety reasons. You will be notified as early as possible and given the option to move your booking to a later date.
Health Considerations
If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before attending.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, are taking prescribed medication, or have recently had surgery or medical treatment, please consult your GP before attending. We also ask that you inform us of any relevant health concerns—such as mental health conditions, seizures, implants, or severe allergies—prior to the session so we can support your safety and comfort.
Woodland Meditation involves a short walk into the woods, followed by a period of stillness while seated or lying down. You are encouraged to participate in a way that feels right for you.
Potential Risks
While we take care to minimise risks, please be aware that this is an outdoor experience in a natural woodland environment. There may be uneven ground, tree roots, low branches, and other natural features to navigate. Emotional responses are also a normal part of this kind of practice, as the experience may bring a sense of deep connection or emotional release.
Age Restrictions
Please note that our events are exclusively designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not currently offer sessions for minors.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the session will receive a full refund (excluding any booking fees).
Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are non-refundable, but you will be given the option to transfer your booking to another available date.
Non-attendance on the day of the session is non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
A minimum of four participants is required for the session to go ahead. If this number is not met, we will contact you in advance to offer a rescheduled date or a full refund.
If we need to cancel due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will be given the choice to rebook or receive a full refund.
Photography/Filming Consent
We may occasionally take photographs or short videos during sessions to promote The Naturally Curious via our website, social media, and other marketing channels.
By ticking the consent box on your health check form, you agree to be included in any such images or recordings. We’ll confirm this again on the day. If you’d prefer not to be photographed or filmed, just let us know—your wishes will always be respected.
Please note that images shared online may be viewable worldwide. You will not receive payment for the use of your image, and The Naturally Curious retains copyright. You may request that we stop using your image in future content, though previously published materials may remain in circulation.
